The Problem

in a world where keeping fit means keeping motivated, social sports can mean self preservation. So, finding, managing and connecting people and places, for playing regularly, is a big challenge. Though just 30 minutes of playing basketball/football burns over 200 calories off your body, the market still lacks a platform that can easily give people regular access, communication and visibility for connecting the billions who want to play grassroots games, as well as the places where they can play. Like the sports facilities themselves, opportunities to play are typically hidden in an less than evolved ecosystem. Equally, the grassroots organiser who boldly pays to rent a sports facility for an hour or two, often has a tough time collecting from the people she invited to play. Each of these challenges is an obstacle to sports.

Our Solution

create a platform where players have a living sports profile to search out places to play, create places to play (geo- mapping) and invite friends to any type of game; crowd source referees, coaches or people who meet your level of ability by simply filtering your profile search. Organisers get paid back by players easily with by adding a fee to the game invite; one click for cashless collections, which can pay out directly to their bank account whenever they like. We connect the disconnected and inspire the less motivated with currency rewards, recognition and challenges. Our goal is to build a better, healthier and more social sports ecosystem with better visibility and access. Grow the the positive impact of sports in every community.

Revenue Forecast

WOOOBA’s main revenue comes from game fee transactions, grassroots sports sponsorships and retail (re)sellers & sponsors. All grassroots sports players are our target users. There are nearly 1 billion active grassroots basketball and football. players worldwide.

Revenue Stream One

Wallet Payment System

WOOOBA Wallet gives players a cashless way to collect fees, peer to peer, for games without going outside of the players ecosystem. Just add the price to a player invite; when an invite is accepted, the value only transfers to the organiser’s Wallet after the session is confirmed. It’s all digital, so players can send real money to their bank account, with one click of the Payout button. Organisers always get paid back.

Revenue Stream Two

Sponsor Zone

The sponsor zone rewards players for brand loyalty. Players will be able to choose a brand to follow and the brands follow players who can be rewarded in WOOOBux.

Revenue Stream Three

WOOOBux & Reward

We are creating WOOOBux (WBX), the world’s very first cryptocurrency dedicated to supporting grassroots sports players. Real money for real play. Brands, organisations, schools, parents…anyone who wants to reward someone in sports can purchase WOOOBux as rewards to encourage and excite them to play more sports. Goals of location or time can be added to rewards so players must be at a specific location or spend a set time at a location to collect rewards in their WOOOBA Wallet.
